In and out cat

3 and a half years ago my brother Mike and his wife Jeanette came to visit our parents. They brought their cat with them as well. They wanted to see if dad would take him.

When I got this blog I told Mike I would write about the cat, so they could see what he is up to.

This cat loves the door; he thinks whatever side he is on is not as good as the other side. He talks in a squeak.

About 5 to 10 minuets later I took the next picture. Sometimes Dad leaves a door open for the cats pleasure. I don't like that, because we get bugs in the house. The cat doesn't always come to the open door anyway, because he will go to the door he likes best.

He loves food, and he eats more when we don't let him out.

After going for food and can't go back out, he will lay there for a bit hoping we will open the door.

I thought he looked cute, and he seemed to like me taking his picture. We all were in watching TV, or chatting, so he had to check on us.

Dad got him to look at me

Dad has been training the cat that it's okay to be in laps. We sometimes comb his fur, and rub his neck. We think Mike and Jeanette told him he wasn't allowed off the floor. He still doesn't stay that long on a lap.

He likes to walk around everywhere. If you are near him, you might get a cat story in cat squeaks.

When it is warm outside, he will bask in the sun. I haven't seen any other cats do this in my life.

What does your animal do that is funny?

What a funny cat, I just have to look at that cat and he makes me laugh!!
My dog chewy goes nuts right after he takes a bath. I think he is so elated that bath time is over he runs at full speed back and forth across the hall as fast as he can, he actually keeps it up for a good amount of time, we all chant and clap our hands and say go chewy go , and it just makes him run faster, it cracks us up every-time.
